Lord Rooker Visits The Earls

Students from Year 11 spent the afternoon with Labour peer, Lord Rooker, on Friday, in order to learn about the sometimes arcane workings of the UK Parliament’s upper house.

Team Tanzania: tearful goodbyes

Earls students and staff who have spent working at the Umonga school have now departed and are on their way to Mikumi for the second phase of their African experience. Goodbyes were said, accompanied by a few tears, as our students leave their new friends and truly life changing experience behind.

A taste of schooling, Tanzania style.

Team Tanzania students take on the role of teachers as they step into the classroom to work with local children. Supporting classes of up to 67, Earls students were involved with teaching English and Maths to their Tanzanian counterparts.

Team Tanzania departs for Africa

After almost 18 months of meticulous planning and preparation, a party of 26, including 23 students and 3 staff, finally departs on their volunteer mission.
