Raising a  concern

At The Earls High School, we are committed to working in close partnership with parents and carers to support every student’s wellbeing, learning and success. While we strive for the highest standards in all that we do, we recognise that misunderstandings and mistakes can occur. When they do, we welcome the opportunity to listen, reflect and resolve concerns constructively.

By approaching issues together with openness, respect and a shared focus on what is best for our students, we can continue to improve the experiences we provide for them.

If you do need to raise a concern, please refer to the flowchart below:

If your concern is not resolved:

If you have already raised your concerns informally but now need to make a formal complaint, please use the link on the right to share it with us. While this is not a requirement, it does help us to understand what has happened and the outcome you are seeking, allowing us to resolve the issue more quickly.

Other relevant policies you may wish to read include:

  • Complaints policy
  • Behaviour policy
  • Anti-bullying policy
  • Safeguarding policy
  • Suspension and exclusion policy

These can be found on our policies page.

We always welcome the opportunity

to talk things through face-to-face

or on the telephone.

This usually means we can resolve

concerns quickly and effectively.
