Since October 2023, students from Years 8 through to 11 have been rehearsing diligently after school in preparation for a two night sell out run of The Wizard of Oz. From line dancing to casting evil spells, both cast and staff had a wonderful time.

The performances were incredible, with audience’s blown away at the standard of work the students created. As usual, the production team would like to congratulate students on their efforts and talent; they were a pleasure to work with!

           

     

This weekend saw the practice expedition of our year 10 Silver DofE students. 54 students embarked on a two day walk and an overnight camp carrying all their equipment and cooking for themselves (some I am sure for the first time). They walked about 15 miles over the 2 days, some even enjoying it so much they detoured to add some extra miles to their walk.

Well done to all student who took part this weekend and I look forward to taking you all on your qualifying expeditions next half term.
