On Tuesday 25th June it was the Earls High School Summer Concert, which featured a grand total of 158 students! The performances featured exquisite talent from our ensembles, playing well-known pieces such as, Smells Like Teen Spirit (Guitar Ensemble), I Got You (Jazz Band), Just The Way You Are (Choir) and A James Bond Medley (Orchestra).
The concert also featured collaborations between our ensembles such as The Final Countdown played by our Orchestra and Year 7 Little Big Band who have gone on a journey from playing their first note on their instruments in September, to a well-attended concert, all in a school year!
The concert was concluded with a massive cooperation between the ensembles performing a fan favourite – Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. All students played a massive role in this years’ concert and smiles were all around!
All extra-curricular activities will continue in September, so keep a lookout for posters to see when each ensemble is on!

Since October 2023, students from Years 8 through to 11 have been rehearsing diligently after school in preparation for a two night sell out run of The Wizard of Oz. From line dancing to casting evil spells, both cast and staff had a wonderful time.
The performances were incredible, with audience’s blown away at the standard of work the students created. As usual, the production team would like to congratulate students on their efforts and talent; they were a pleasure to work with!
