More than 70 students from years 8 to 11 enjoyed a trip to see Matilda at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Year 10 enjoyed a magical day at Warner Bros Harry Potter Studios.  Students had a brilliant time and were a pleasure to be with.                   

The students narrowly missed out on a place in the Regional Handball semi-finals following a 2-2 draw (v Walsall Academy), 4-3 loss (v Thomas Adams) and 4-1 win (v Haywood Academy). It was great experience for the students, many of whom will use handball as one of their sports for GCSE PE.

We had mixed fortunes in the cup finals with year 9 losing 3-2 and year 10 winning 3-2.
