Alex Ballinger MP came to visit The Earls today to commend students for their work out in The Gambia and the fundraising that had taken place prior to their visit. He awarded them his Community Champion Award for outstanding service to the local community. He also took the time to chat to students about their trip and his work as an MP.

We are very proud that he raised an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons to highlight our longstanding support for Project Gambia. Bev Hodt, the founder of the Project Gambia charity, has also written to us to praise the fantastic commitment and compassion shown by our students. It is wonderful that this has been recognised so widely.
