Students are encouraged to join one of our student book clubs, with some held at lunchtime in the library and some after school. During these, students discuss the books that they are reading independently, as well as deciding on a book to read together.

Book Clubs also participate in various book awards, including the Spark! School Book Awards and the YOTO Carnegies.

Through book clubs, students are offered extra-curricular trips, including trips to see authors and to the Dudley Children’s Book Award ceremony.
