On Tuesday, 16th December 2025, The Earls High School community gathered for an unforgettable evening of movement, emotion, and artistry at our Dance Showcase. Despite being only one term into the school year, our students delivered engaging performances that left the audience blown away by their work ethic and creative maturity.
The evening served as a vital platform for students to share their work, which are often difficult to showcase outside the studio environment. Led by Miss Lawrence and Mrs Gapper, the event highlighted a diverse range of styles including Contemporary, Jazz, Street, and Kpop.
The showcase culminated in a powerful performance of “Lord of the Flies” by year 10 dancers, exploring tribal instincts and power struggles, followed by a full-company bow that brought all performers back to the stage in a final celebration of talent. Over 100 students to the stage!
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Facilities Team, our student technicians, and the families whose support makes these performances possible. To all the performers: your bravery and dedication stole the show. We are incredibly proud of your achievements!
