Wednesday 20 July, Year 9 students had the opportunity to take part in taster sessions of their option lessons in preparation for Year 10. Students were thoroughly engaged and really enjoyed getting an insight into a GCSE lesson. The day is really valuable to support students with their transition into Year 10.
Students in the Film Studies Class had great fun trying out Special FX make up and creating cuts and bruises. See some of the photos below. (Please be assured these are not real and all make up!)

On Wednesday Year 8 & 9 students took part in House Rounders
Well done to all that took part. Your form tutors / heads of house will be adding achievement points on for you and signing off Earls Gold.
34 students took part, it was great to see some good-natured competitive drive, it was very close.

Year 10 students have been celebrating Pride month last week. They were invited to attend a film screening of ‘Love, Simon’ which was shown throughout the week.
Students enjoyed meeting up, eating popcorn and celebrating diversity.
