Engineering Workshop

Engineering Workshop

On Friday, 16th December, a group of KS3 students took part in a workshop delivered by members of the engineering department from Aston University. The university is the regional centre for F1 in schools. The workshop included a presentation, question & answer session and racing models of F1 cars on a 16 metre track. Students gained knowledge of competition rules and an insight into what they will need to do to enable them to compete at entry level at the regional final, which will take place later this year for our year 8 and 9 students who attend the F1 in schools extra-curricular club.
