Art students visit to Tate Modern and Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

On Wednesday 26 March, 50 Year 10 and 9 Art students visited both Tate Modern and Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

From Bankside students walked along and across the Thames then travelled via the underground to South Kensington.  Art students conducted themselves in a mature manner during the excursion.

Students enjoyed seeing a diverse range of work from international pioneering contemporary pieces of the recently expanded Tate, through to the Raphaels and Gainsborough at the V&A, providing a great deal of inspiration for their own studies. The students even got to see Big Ben, London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey along the way.
A huge thank you goes to Mr Finch, Mrs Evans, Ms Kearns and Mrs Narrowmore for all their help and support to make such an inspiring day possible.
