Recently, year 10 student Dominic went to Harlow to compete in the Elite Open International Karate Championship, where he came back with a Bronze and a Silver medal. He followed this up with a trip to Romania last Saturday. Having made it to the bronze medal fight, he just missed out on the medal with the final score being 6-6. The other fighter scored the first point so gained the medal. While there, Dominic also had the chance to attend a seminar with a Hungarian Olympic medallist and world and European vice champion. This was a fantastic experience for him, and we are all very proud of his success.
