World Book day

On Thursday 2nd March, we celebrated World Book Day with lots of activities. Students read a short story at the start of each lesson, The Man with the Yellow Face by Anthony Horowitz. The ‘Read for Good’ Readathon was launched with Years 7-9, where students can raise money for charity by reading.

Year 8 students were also given the exciting opportunity of taking part in a fantasy writing workshop with author (and former Earls pupil!) Richard Hayden and we were generously given several copies of his books ‘The Folly on the Hill’ and ‘The Statue of Mow’ for our library.  Book token to print
