The Great languages Bake Off

Today saw the finals of The Earls’ Languages Faculty Great Languages Bake Off. Students have spent recent weeks developing recipes for cakes, biscuits and cookies, which they thought best represented a chosen language from either French, German or Spanish. Students then had to translate their recipe and cooking method into their chosen language and then bake the result. Around thirty different students made it through to the finals, which were held in Hall A today at 2.15.
