Students compete in national public speaking competition

Entrants in ESU-Churchill national public speaking competition

On the evening of Friday 7th December, six of our KS4 students (Oliver, Mu’adh, Thomas, Rebekah, Gabriela and Toby) competed in the regional round of the ESU-Churchill national public speaking competition for schools at Whitley Academy in Coventry. They debated a number of topical issues and all represented the school brilliantly. A special mention goes to Rebekah who won ‘Best Speaker’ on the night.
