On Friday 10th March we see off from school with 45 pupils from Year7 – 10 on the annual Performing Arts Trip to London. The pupils that attended the trip did our school proud and positive comments were given to Staff from the members of the general public which is always pleasing top hear.
When we arrived in London pupils were taken to the famous ‘Pineapple’ Studios where they had the opportunity to work with professional dancers and musical directors who were currently performing in the Lion King show.
On the evening we went to see the ‘Lion King’ and I can that both staff and pupils were amazed at the interaction of puppets and performers. During the show we recognised the song and dance that was shown to the pupils earlier in the day.
On the second day we visited the London Eye, London Dungeons and finally Madame Tussards and although packed a lot into one day it was a fantastic experience for pupils and staff.
A big thank you has to go out to pupils for making it a pleasurable experience for staff and an even bigger thank you to Miss Burke who organised the trip with military precision.
