FoE is a group of parents, teachers and associates of the school who meet approximately six times a year to support the school and to strengthen relations between teachers, parents, students and members of the wider community.
What we do:
Organise day trips to interesting locations in the UK, which have included Windsor, Bath, London, Liverpool and Lincoln. We are always open to suggestions for new destinations so please forward your ideas to email@example.com.
Provide refreshments for a variety of school activities including Parents Evenings, School performances and Information Evenings.
Provide sponsorship and extra equipment for the school via social and fundraising activities, which include quiz nights, fashion shows and day trips. Equipment provided to the school in recent years includes: camping equipment for Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions, digital cameras and DJ equipment. A full list of items purchased for school by FoE can be found in downloads.
Organise the School Lottery Club, which is a mini-lottery organised by FoE. This is a major fund raising activity, with 50% of the proceeds goes towards projects at the school and the remaining 50% returned in prize money to winning participants. Your support for the lottery would be much appreciated and details of how the scheme works, along with a Standing Order Mandate and the name of each month’s winner can be found by clicking on the link at the foot of the page.
Anyone associated with the school can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available. Helping out at functions, preparing raffle prizes or offering suggestions for future fundraising events are all extremely valuable contributions and we couldn’t achieve what we do without this unseen ‘Army of Help’. If you are interested in joining Friends of the Earls please download and complete the ‘Join the FoE’ form, then return it to the main School Reception.
Alternatively you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
