The Earls High School Excellence – Care – Partnership

Results are in!

Students at The Earls High School have been celebrating their GCSE results today. 42% of students achieved a strong pass (Grade 5 or above) in both English and mathematics and 65% of students achieved a standard pass in both English and mathematics.

Headteacher Jamie Fox said, “We are extremely proud of the achievements and hard work of our students. These excellent results are a product of the students’ dedication, the quality and commitment of staff at the school, the support of parents and the excellent start that students have in the primary schools of Halesowen.”

“We are particularly pleased that our Progress 8, which is the government’s key method of measuring the progress of students at a school, is again likely to be positive which shows that students make excellent progress at The Earls, no matter what their starting point is. We are confident that our students leave us with the qualifications and personal qualities to be successful in the next stage of their career and wish them all the very best.”

Notable results include Isobel Cooper, Megan Garner, Jessica Jones, Danielle Ellett, Anjalee Philora and Milo Hartree who all performed exceptionally well.

Congratulations also go to Hannan Belbina, Eleanor Cole, Lydia Parke, Leyla Aboarook, Alice Whitehouse, Imogen Jackson and Jude Wallace who have all made outstanding progress in their time at The Earls High School.
