Year 10 DofE Students Take to The Hills

Year 10 students, who have undertaken to work towards their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, applied their newly acquired map reading and compass skills during a visit to The Clent Hills last recently. The award, which involves learning a wide range of skills, including navigation, is invaluable in developing independence, fortitude and community mindedness. All students in Year 10 are invited to participate in the Bronze level award, with many who take part progressing to Silver before leaving The Earls.
