A Wonderful treat for GCSE Film Studies students

Could you get anything more wondrous? I ‘Diana’ think so! Thirty four Year 10 Film Studies students were lucky enough to go on a trip to The Electric Cinema in Birmingham on Thursday June 8th. Once there we had a really interesting talk from Manager Sam, who explained how the cinema chooses which films to show, how much it costs to show them and even gave us a tour of the projection room! Once we had bought our movie snacks – nachos, sweets and chocolate cakes, we watched Gal Gadot do her thing as Diana, Princess of Themyscira, Daughter of Hippolyta (aka Wonder Woman!). All students behaved impeccably, you might even say ‘WONDERfully!’ Described by students as ‘a feminist blockbuster!’  ‘Fantastic!’ and ‘Inspiring’, we all had a really good time and (some) are already looking forward to the sequel.
